Happy December!

It is hard to believe that it is already December! This month is quite busy with Grandparents day, the Christmas Music Performance, and the Holiday break.
Please keep checking in to the Weekly letters to see what is going on that week.

We will be creating hypotheses and experimental designs in the next couple weeks for Science Fair projects. Students need to finish the experiments over break and come back to school in January with results. Please keep this in mind as you plan for the Holidays.

Tomorrow December 2nd, is a noon dismissal and free dress day. Saturday the 3rd is the Holiday Parade in OB. We will have a float in the parade, please come to cheer us on and celebrate the holiday season!

Happy Thanksgiving Break!

Greetings!
Tomorrow is the jogathon from 8am to noon at Robb field. Can't wait to see you all there. During Thanksgiving break, grades 6-8 are to do their Science Fair Research. This involves studying 10 different sources to find out more about their topic. These sources can be experts they interview, credible websites, books, encyclopedias, even educational videos. While students study these sources, they should be taking notes on a ring of notecards I gave them. There should be one notecard for every source. This is due the Monday we get back from break, the 28th! The list of sources is worth 25 points, and the notecards are worth 25 points. Please make sure they are done completely. Have a great Thanksgiving! I am very thankful for you. ~ Ms. McQuade
